Transfers for arrivals and departures
We include transfers from airports to study centres on arrival, and back to airports from study centres on departures – though we do ask you to arrive and depart within certain broad timeframes. Transfers are accompanied by a member of our staff or other appointed adult (e.g. an overseas group leader accompanying his/her own group). For departures, our staff assist with check-ins, and do not leave until they are sure that students have their boarding passes and have gone through security.
Many students will be travelling as ‘unaccompanied minors’. We are very familiar with the procedures to be followed in these cases.
We do not include your travel between your home country and the country where you’re taking your programme. We ask you to arrange (in most cases) flights, and give us your details as soon as you have them.
Transfers between centres
Most of our programmes are multi-centre. Transfers between centres are included in the UK, and may be made by coach and/or train. Transfers are not included between the East and the West in the USA and Canada, or between the USA and Canada on combined USA/Canada programmes; we ask you to arrange your own flights in these cases. All travel is included on study tours (in Canada: from Calgary through to Vancouver, and Montreal through to Toronto).
You will receive full details of our transfer service in the Welcome Pack which we send when we confirm your enrolment. We strongly suggest that you do not book flights until you receive this information (it’s sent by email within 3 business days of payment being received). If you need it before enrolling, just email us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
