You’ll also learn to create a business plan and pitch an idea to your peers.
Engineering & Technology
Today’s engineers and technologists are building the future – are you ready to join them? Through this hands-on course, get a taste of the many areas in engineering and technology, from chemical engineering to computer programming, that will change the world. At the end of the course, you’ll be designing a product and making it work, seeing the project through from start to finish.
Law, Society & International relations
Law is the key to keeping our society working and the world in order. This course looks at some of the basic principles behind law. You’ll learn about different legal systems and how to present legal arguments, which you’ll put into practice in a mock trial setting. There will also be work on related subjects, including sociology and international relations, and units on criminology and human rights.
Medical Sciences and Psychology
Fascinated by the workings of the human body and mind? This course gives a broad overview of medicine and psychology, looking at topics as diverse as cardiology, pulmonology, neuroscience, medical ethics and global health. Through engaging exercises, you’ll learn how medical testing and treatment can work, as well as how doctors and psychologists develop relationships with their patients.
